New Cynosa V2 keyboard keys not working

All of the keys between the left shift and ctrl, and the right shift and ctrl are not working as well as the backspace key. There are no macros binded and its brand new, I've also tried uninstalling and re downloading the drivers to no effect and am not sure whether it needs to be returned or if some other setting is on I'm not aware of

I wouldn't recommend it and also I am not to blame if this messes up your keyboard more, but opening up your keyboard and cleaning the membrane that is under the plastic thing under your keys with isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip fixed my cynosa v2 keyboard which had keys that was not responding at all.
