Ditto, I want to know about the battery life and thermal performance as well. Also if the fans do ramp up how loud do they realistically get.

I would love to see some unpacking and first boot pictures (the stuff we see online is very professional). I would like to see a real world experience of the unboxing. If you are brave enough also a picture of the interior of the blade !

Congrats! Definitely most interested in thermals, acoustics (ear-level db readings) and throttling.

A small question but can you tell us the max mhz RAM that can be used by this MOBO?
what are the mhz by default?
Also is it possible to turn off the razer logo on the back of the screen just like on the razer blade pro?
as you owned a blade 14 an accoustic comparaison would be great. even just sharing your feeling regarding the noise level.

easytruckBeauBlue589I will absolutely stress test thermals and throttling. I don't have a way to test the db reading for acoustics but I will do my best to explain or even upload a video if need be.

RazerRanixI will check about the logo and i will look into the RAM as well. Everyone hang in there Ill be starting my testing and taking some pics of the "unboxing" for you guys within the hour.

Firebat246Can’t you use your phone to do that? There’s a lot free dB meter Apps on Google Store or Apps Store. I usually measure mine with that and put the phone directly on laptops keyboard.

Firebat246Thank you so much! If you have an iPhone, SPLnFFT is a great db meter as is NIOSH SLM. There are probably ones for Android as well I'd think

Can't wait! Thanks for doing this Firebat246. I am planning to acquire one myself once they reach the UK , so excited to see what you got!
Edit: You posted few seconds before me! Thanks for the pictures! What a beauty! Couple of things more once you get the chance: how big/heavy is the battery charger? Is it a magnetic port like the macbook pros?

Firebat246Where’s power brick, did they forget to put it in;) Kiddo, how much bigger is it compared to Power Adapter from Blade 14?
Here's some pictures i'm about to turn it on and begin setup.

They made such a mistake with the placement of the arrow keys. They should all be in the extreme lower right hand corner with the RT SHIFT placed directly beside the ? key and FN beside RT CTRL. Can't believe they'd make such a bonehead choice

RazerRanixIt also is a 3 prong female to male plug. It does fit very snug and the cable is much more durable feeling than the old. Yes it's bigger but its also a 230w.

Firebat246I like that feels way solid and well built than competitors. Sorry I can’t like it anymore today 5/5 already;)
Comparison for you.
RazerRanixIt is 230watt power brick bro, 20 Watt difference with on the Pro that powered GTX1080...with full of sweat;) Maybe 200watt on 1060 one will be smaller.

What is that button looking thing on the top right side of the speaker grill? Im assuming its a power button but hoping it has a fingerprint sensor.

0V3R_K1LLI seriously doubt it's a fingerprint sensor but if indeed that is the power button I assume the speaker grills are some sort of cloth not rigid like prior Blades?

RazerRanixThe Ram is set at 2667 confirmed. I will let you know max once I figure it out. The logo CAN be turned off via synapse, and at idle the machine is pretty quiet. Again I'll get an app to see how much fans ramp up during heavy load. EDIT: 32gb Ram at 2667 is max motherboard will allow
