Razer AppEngine (7.1 Surround Sound) and Razer Synapse 3

Hi guys, i just have a question. Does the Razer AppEngine have to be installed to use Razer Synapse 3? Or i can use Razer Synapse 3 and uninstall Razer AppEngine. I don´t want to uninstall the Razer AppEngine because i uninstalled Razer Synapse 3 and I had troubles trying to reactivate the THX features, so i want to know if uninstalling AppEngine does not make any troubles first. (I have a Razer Kraken TE) Pd.: Sorry for the bad writting im not an English native speaker
