Razer Electra v2 usb Sound off all of sudden


Okay so today i turned my laptop on and binged a show on netlix but all of sudden the sound of my headset stopped working and the volume is stuck and won't let me do anything. I've tried reinstalling it but that did not work either. I reinstalled Razer synapse 2.0 ( as suggested for razer v2 electra usb) but now when i try to re-register the product it says that the product number is invalid which is not true because when i first registered it worked well. I've literally tried everything i could have thought of and searched many ways to fix it on my own but here i am now asking for help because i really like these headphones and the surround system is great. Please help me find a fix for them ASAP.

Check how the headset appears in the Device Manager. If possible, put up a screenshot that so we can get a better understanding of what's going on. By the way, registration of devices is a one-time type of thing. There's no need to re-register.

The device shows as working properly but there is still no sound no matter what and the volume is literally locked too 100% https://gyazo.com/692d7f48b5a8b36a11922186bc6931c6 i made a small gif instead for you. I reinstalled all the sound drivers and tried every option i could think of. Is it a possibilty that there could be a short circuit? Also when this issue began the synapse app stopped recognizing the headset itself and even after reinstall nothing was changed. I've tried with another headset and everything is normal but not with the electra v2 usb.

It is possible but chances are rather slim. Anyways, PM me the serial number of your headset so I can look into possible firmware fixes. Let's go from there.

I have also tried updating the firmware but it was up to date the latest was 14 for the Electra v2 usb.
