Blackshark v2X mic connection

I cannot see the headset in Windows 10 on an Acer Predator Triton 300 and although the headset speakers work the mic will not connect. Seems this is a common problem with many set-ups. Does anyone please know the solution? The headset is fully functional with my xBox but is sold as also compatible with PC’s which it appears not to be.

    You will have to select your Realtek mic as the default communications device is you have the analog variant of the Blackshark V2. Don't hesitate to send me a message if you need further assistance. *Locking the thread to curb the conversation to PMs.
