Razer Man'O War Microphone Issues
So hello there dear Forum,
Ever since i bought the Razer Man O War 7.1 (Wire) the Microphone was doing whatever it likes to do.
I tryed so many settings and searched for solutions everywhere, nothing worked.
So everytime i speak it is giving me a Echo (Mic Monitoring is off, also Windows playback is off), it seems that the Mic is somehow too sensitive and is recording the sound that is coming out of the speakers too.
Even when i turn up the sensibility in Synapse it won't change anything, setting down the Mic Volume doesnt effect it too. (Well Mic sensibility won't change the sensibility somehow...)
Echo Reduction will lower the Mic Quality too a stage no one would like to hear me anymore, i cannot talk to anyone cause of the echo stacking up actually gavee me headache lol.
Edit: The Echo only apears somehow on Discord or Teamspeak, when i activate the Mic Monitoring in Synapse everything seems to be fine. Ive setted up many Mic's on Discord and Teamspeak, and never had such a issue, i tryed every setting, but the echo keeps appearing.
So heres a quick soundfile for understanding the issue better, you can also hear me canceling the voice record in the end... https://instaud.io/3FI3
I hope you guy's can help me ...
Your sincerely
Zensoran
**** Well this worked for some users, not for me ****
Here's the Reddit link that solved the problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/discordapp/comments/73hy3d/fix_for_microphone_echo_issues/
Quick Edit since i cannot edit the post somehow, so when i activate the Mic Monitoring or a Windows Voice Recorder everything is working just fine but as soon as i activate the listening Checkbox on the Microphone properties im just getting the Echo stacking up unlimited, the same happens for Teamspeak or Discord.
Realy that needs to be fixed since the Man O War Headset was just my backup if my 5 Year old Kraken Chrome gives up, well it did died 2 days ago and the Man O War Mic ist not realy doing what it should do.
