will currency of my razer gold change if i go overseas

so currently i have about 10 gold in my razer wallet (in sgd), however i will be going to japan on holiday soon. if i want to recharge while i am in japan, will the currency of my razer gold change to jpy as well or stay as sgd? or am i unable to recharge overseas?

    razer gold is region locked.

    However you can request for a one time PERMANENT region change from razer gold customer support.
