Good day I just bought my Leviathan V2 x soundbar last sunday (February 4, 2023) and upon installing synapse suggested to update my firmware to 1.04 however It's just stuck there at 99% for hours and still nothing, tried the instruction given by Razer.Zionzedd on one of the threads stating: It's best that you redo the update. Are you using a USB adapter or hub? If yes, try to plug the speaker directly into the port. You can also try to reinstall the driver in the device manager and reboot your PC before you try to run the updater again. If you're still experiencing the same issue, PM me the serial number so I can start a case and raise your concern to the relevant team. Still stuck at 99% after trying the instructions can someone help me please, thank you.

Same issue and now my speaker won’t turn on at all. Haven’t heard back from warranty on this.

Literally just got this speaker, tried to do the update, and it failed once, then after clicking retry, it went to 99%, and stopped.  It looks like this is a widespread issue.  Is my brand new speaker bricked if I unplug it, or shut down the update to retry?

Did Razer test this update process before sending it out to customers?

😔

I talked with my brother, and after a headache, and being stressed out about potentially bricking the band new speaker, I noticed in task manager the firmware software was frozen, so I force closed, retried, it got stuck at 99% again.

After a bit, I noticed a notification hiding in my notifications, saying the PC needs to restart to apply updates.  So I restarted, unplugged the speaker, plugged it back in, and retried the update.  Went to 100% and completed without an issue.

I’m not sure how this works, and it’s frustrating that the process isn’t clear.

I ran the update till it got stuck at 99%, ended task in the task manager, restarted the PC, unplugged and plugged back in the Leviathan, retried the update from the downloaded file, it completed, now everything works.

I hope this helps.😣

Same issue here. Got stuck at 99%, waited an hour, no change. Had to restart and now the soundbar appears bricked.

When first trying to re-run the update, it appears as though the device is no longer recognized:

After restarting and trying a different USB-C port, it gets stuck at 99% again:

When the update starts, the soundbar turns off with an audible pop noise.
