Laptop Shuts Down on Startup

So I’ve been having an issue with my razer blade 15. Randomly today my battery just stopped being charged. It shut down after losing all its battery even though the charger was still plugged in. I tried starting up my laptop again and it shut down after maybe 5 seconds. If I’m lucky I’ll reach the login menu. Sounds like a battery issue but it doesn’t even turn on when the charger is plugged in. I live in Australia so it’s hard to get help from local computer technicians and I have heard that I’m likely to have to send it overseas, a process which can take over a month. I’m also not under warranty anymore and assume this will be an expensive process.

Unfortunately I’m a broke uni student and desperately need this laptop for the software that my university doesn’t even provide. Any advice?
