do all razer products require synapse now? if i had of know i would have a much different outlook on their products. as such the ornata v2 is e waste cause eventually os's wont support synapse

Not all but most. You definitely want to use Synapse, that lets you be able to use all the Chroma games and other features of high end peripherals.

+1You can use your peripherals without Synapse, but you'll loose some of the advanced functions, macros, Chroma settings as @ARMOR_152 said.
If your mouse or keyboard have built-in internal memory - you can always configure it as you want, save settings on internal memory, then use it without Synapse.

returned an ornata and cynosa today. let me know when u start making peripherals again. i'm not in the market for lightbars- no onboard led control- no purchase.
