Time in BIOS sometimes 'sticks' at time I shutdown last at next boot

Mid 2019 Razer Blade Advanced. Around 1 in 5 boots my system time will be the date/time that I last shut down. ie this morning at 08:35 on 13/5 when I booted the system date/time said 16:49 on 12/5 (which was when I shutdown yesterday). I have to reboot to BIOS and set the date/time, then it is ok. It would be easier if this was every time, but odd that it is a bit random. Any ideas of things to try?
