No internal microphone listed under devices!

I've been trying to work this out by looking it up on line and finally gave up. My new Razer Blade simply does not have any on-board microphone device listed, so it isn't even a question of updating drivers, because there's nothing to update. The only thing listed is the external device, Microphone 2. My laptop has all of the latest Windows updates installed as of yesterday. I need to use my computer to do video calls to doctors and family, and I can't. What do I need to do to get this working?
