Thresher ultimate Xbox one party can hear my audio

No other speaker or mic is connected. When in a party, others in the party can hear themselves and at times my game sound too. Only fix I've found for this is to turn the volume right down to the point it's difficult to hear the game or party members - which defeats the point in my opinion. Any help in regards to lowering the mic sensitivity. I've also hooked these up to the pc and created a party there and the same thing happens. Windows gives no option to adjust mic sensitivity and synapse doesn't pick up the headset (I believe these aren't included in the synapse setup?) Thanks
