[Razer Phone 2] Sudden acceleration in battery drain over last ~2 weeks

I didn't see a thread on this, but I apologize if I've created a duplicate anyway. Issue: Sudden, excessive battery drain on RP2 device Carrier: Verizon (USA) Android OS: 9 Last updated: Approx. 2-3 weeks ago (via usual notification that a system update was available) Details:

• Since last update, I've noticed a sudden increase in battery drain. Even with no apps in the app tray, I've watched the RP2 drain over 20% battery in less than an hour
• As I type this, with only Chrome and Gmail open, my phone went from 100% to 68% in 1.5 hours
• Setting changes to reduce frame rate, resolution, and Chroma use have had no effect. Same with disabling-reenabling battery saver and "active battery" management
• Turning Cortex to "battery save" had no effect either
• Other than web surfing, I play a few mobile games. BUT, over the previous 18 months with this phone, neither of those games has caused the kind of battery drain I've seen recently.
