Razer Kraken Ultimate mic stops working

I just (this week) got a new Razer Kraken Ultimate. It seems to work fine except my mic seems to stop working intermittently. At first I thought it was only when I pressed the manual mute button but I just had it happen while I was in the middle of speaking on a zoom call. The mic just stops working -- it shows up, it shows as enabled, it just doesn't receive any input. If I go into sound and disable\\enable it, it works fine again. Maybe a driver issue or something? Anybody have this happen to them?
