Hi,
I recently bought the Razer Turret for Xbox one to use with my PC. I am moving to a new place and no longer have space for a desktop gaming setup, so I concatenated my TV setup with my gaming setup. This keyboard / mouse setup seemed like the perfect solution for that.
The keyboard and mouse themselves are great. Build quality is excellent and I appreciated the packaging and inclusion of USB-C. The problem is the performance. The keyboard has a weird behavior where it alternated between working perfectly and any combination of the following behavior:
1.) Not registering keystrokes at all.
2.) Keystrokes repeating or getting "stuck".
3.) Delayed keystroke registration.
4.) RGB flickering.
Basically: the keyboard has random seizures during which it's basically unusable. It happens pretty frequently - I can't consistently get through more than 20 minutes of gameplay without experiencing it - and it is clearly an unacceptable behavior for a keyboard that costs EUR 300 to be displaying.
The problem is not with my computer - it's definitely either the keyboard or Razer Synapse. More specifically, I /think/ it has to do with the way Razer Synapse "recognizes" or "interfaces" with the keyboard when it is not attached to the computer with a wire. In the software, the keyboard drops in and out of the interface (i.e.: isn't recognized) when these problems occur.
Obviously I could just game on a wire, since the problem isn't present then - but it would be odd to need to, since the value proposition for this product is basically "play care free from your couch!".
Has anyone experienced this problem or found a solution to it? I'd like the RGB to work - maybe I can fix the problem by uninstalling Razer Synapse (come on Razer, please fix it - ridiculous) - I haven't tested it, but I can imagine this is the case - but is there another way to control the RGBs?
