Kraken Pro (2015) Constantly Crackling

Have a Kraken Pro (2015) that still uses the old Synapse v2 and older surround sound software. All up to date. I started to get crackling sounds about over a year ago, but figured out either restart or go into windows sound setting and change the my audio playback from Razer to Realtek and back again would fix this. Now after one of the recent Windows 10 updates, the crackling is constant. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Tried to install the newer versions of synapse and 7.1 surround sound, won't even take my activation code for my headset so I don't know if the newer software will work or not. Now I have to use the headset on the windows drivers and software, which I cannot control the bass or sound features. Unless there's a fix, for this I will be forced to replace a perfectly good headset, because the software doesn't work.
