Razer 7.1 Surround not appearing as a default playback device

Hello, I am having difficulties with getting my 7.1 Surround to work after trying (and failing) to get Synapse 2 to work again after installing 3 caused issues. I since gave up on that endeavor and reinstalled 3, but after downloading and installing the software for 7.1 Surround, I can't find the actual device for it. The program itself seems to be working fine, it's just since I can't set it to my default device it can't function. It worked yesterday just fine, so I'm not sure why this has changed.

I would also like to add that I have reinstalled everything Razer related on my system including drivers and have restarted my PC more times in the past day than the lifespan of the thing.

The program you are talking about does not supported by ur headphones. You have an analog headset (not USB), application will not display or recognize it, there is no equalizer for such headsets either. Configure them systematically in Windows Download and install Razer Synapse 2 version, then on the Internet freely search for the Razer Surround module, this module integrates itself into your installed Synapse 2 version, and already there in the basic version you can enable or disable surround sound. Don't confuse 7.1 Surround software with the Razer Surround module, these are completely different programs. A dedicated sound card can solve the problem - https://www.razer.ru/product/accessories/razer-usb-audio-controller with its help, the headphones can be configured in Synapse 3, and no separate program and codes will be needed; the best virtual surround positional sound, equalizer, sound splitting into game and chat channels is available
