Basilisk X HyperSpeed bluetooth AuthenticationCanceled

I am trying to use my mouse on my Pop OS laptop (Ubuntu) via bluetooth. When I try and connect the device via the wizard it doesn't connect. When I looked through the logs I can see the following Device: XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX Connected: yes Device: XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX Connected: no failed to pair: org.bluez.Error.AuthenticationCanceled It doesn't matter if I trust the device before trying to pair it keeps doing the same thing. My laptop has bluetooth v5.1 so it should be compatible. If i plug the 2.4 USB dongle into the laptop and mouse connects and works perfectly fine so I know that it shouldn't be a driver issue. I have however install the openrazer drivers from github to help.
