License code has already been used - False error in 7.1 surround sound

I just got my new, unopened Razer Kraken Tournament edition from Best Buy and I go on my computer to set up everything. When I got the prompt to enter my code for 7.1 surround sound, I scratched for the code and entered it in. It keeps saying the code has been used even though it was never scratched before and I just opened it I need help with this Thanks
