Installed new NVMe SSD and now synapse showing wrong laptop model

Hi all, I installed a new NVMe SSD (Samsung 970 Evo Plus) in my Blade 15 Mercury White. I didn't reimage the drive as I wanted a fresh install of win 10 Pro. All is working well and I have updated drivers etc using windows updates but Synapse is showing my Blade model as a different device (Blade 15 Advanced - and the pic of the laptop has changed). In addition, when trying to install any Razer-specific downloads for my device (e.g. BIOS update) from the support site, it fails and I am getting a message saying "This firmware tool is for use with Blade and compatible systems only. The application will now close". Are Blade device tag/ids only stored on the factory SSD? So you are stuck if you don't have the original image?

Hey there! Thanks for posting your laptop's concern here. And yes, you can re-image the original solid-state drive's operating system, or I can submit a case to our Support Team, so they send you a recovery stick. Feel free to send me a PM. I'll be locking this thread now.
