I bought this yesterday and I am having the issue of the left side buttons. It seems like they are essentially replacing my 1-12 numbers on my keyboard. I play MMO's and when I assign the "1" button on my mouse it replaces my 1 button on my keyboard, I don't it to replace my keyboard I just want 12 extra mouse buttons to do whatever I want with. Is there a way to configure this?

Did you find an answer to your question? If you still need assistance with it, just open up Razer Synapse and click on the side view of the mouse that shows the 12 buttons. When it comes up, click the button you want to program and a menu should pop up on the left side. Click what you want that button to do (for instance, my buttons 1,2,3 etc are num. pad 1,2,3.) If you want it to be a keyboard function, then select keyboard function, and then another little menu will appear and select key recording, and you just type the key that you want that button to be, then hit save. You can also make macros and other things. Hope this helps!
