Razer Synapse Install fails with "Failed to write installer file"

Just bought an Ornata Chroma keyboard today and plugged it in to my Windows 10 machine. I downloaded the installer from razer.com/synapse-3 When attempting to run installer it fails immediately and writes a file named RazerSynapseInstaller_V1.0.148.188.err. Per a previous thread I read, I downloaded the installer from razer.com/synapse-3 using both Chrome and Edge. I've tried relocating the RazerSynapseInstaller_V1.0.148.188 to another directory, ensuring that directory has FULL CONTROL privs for all accounts, but still no luck.
