Razer Blade Stealth 13 (early 2020 model) screen issues


Got the laptop pretty recently (less than a month) and I'm noticing that the screen would randomly flickers with horizontal lines of repeating Windows Taskbar (see screenshot attached). I tried to check the graphics card drivers and everything seems to be updated. Anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone know what the fix for this would be?

I believe I've fixed this issue recently. it seems to be an intel display driver issue and it can be fixed by updating the display drivers on, https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html

I've tried this and it's still happening.

Return for warranty service

It happened to me jus a few minutes ago with exactly the same model. I bought this like 2 weeks ago. Hopefully this is a software issue..

Just a warning that when I used Intel's display driver (through Intel's Driver & Support Assistant) rather than the one supplied via Windows update I lost the ability to adjust screen brightness.

I have the same issue, sent in for warranty repair got a refurb laptop with the same problem

Same thing happened with mine. I sent my new computer back to Razer they sent me back a refurbished one and it still has the screen issue. I am pretty upset about the whole transaction.

I've been having this issue most of the time while working but this information really helps me. I just tried it and so far no issue at all. Must try. :)

its something wrong with the computer that I bought recently you can seehere the sources from where I bought it these are valid but the issue is with my razer id please guide me about it.

Hey everyone! Thanks for creating this thread. Were you able to contact our Support Team by submitting a case? Also, have you tried updating your computer's graphics driver by using Intel's Driver & Support Assistant? If yes, did you have the same behavior as what figrin1 mentioned? Has anyone tried removing the graphics driver by using DDU (third-party app) in Windows safe mode, then restarted the computer and let the Windows updater recommend the display driver for your laptop?
