Synapse 'disconnects' and everything stops working


Hi, Synapse seems to disconnect from everything. My media keys stop working, my LED strips stop reacting the way they're supposed to, my motherboard lighting (Mystic light connection) stop responding, etc. If I exit Synapse manually (close in taskbar) and then start it again, things start working fine again. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything multiple times. Can't find anyone else with the same problem after searching and searching. Full list of stuff: BlackWidow Elite (with the wheel) Deathadder Elite Lian Li 011 Dynamic Razer edition Razer Chroma HDK Mystic Light Pls help.

Same issue for me, uninstalled and removed every single Razer file, but no luck. I get no issues if Synapse is turned off. Most often this happens during gaming sessions and the devices completely disconnect. I have also noticed when attempting to screenshare on Discord I get this crash instantly and sometimes it does not even recover. Huntsman Elite Naga Trinity O11 - Razer edition (this is the most recent edition to the setup - prior to this everything worked like a charm) Nommo Chroma

I have encountered few occasions when Synapse stops responding, some of the factors
  • RAZER peripherals are connected to a USB Multi hub (frequently)
  • RAZER Synapse is not updated
  • Windows OS needs updating (rarely)
  • Synapse and Windows OS compromised by Virus
If Synapse and Windows OS is compromised by Virus, try confirm this by monitoring the task manager for signs of high CPU processes, high RAM usage or constant read&write occurring on C:\\
