new razer phone 2 fingerprint scanner not working

I just (3 hours ago) got my Razer Phone 2 replacement from Razer repair after 3 weeks and I was extatic, but after I finally got to setting it up, the fingerprint scanner won't register anything. As I was setting it up, I attempted to make it work and then skipped so I could try again from the settings which also didn't work out. I finally have my phone back and I really don't want to send it back to the repair team, but I guess I can if no solutions present themselves.
