Turret keyboard mouse for Xbox bundle

I bought the turret keyboard and mouse bundle for Xbox from Amazon. When it arrived, the mouse was missing from the box. I determined from the Amazon Q and A that the mouse was a Mamba, so when I talked with Amazon support, they provided a refund to allow me to buy the mouse separately. Now I have charged up the devices, installed the dongle supplied with the mouse, downloaded the Turret for Xbox app from the store, and tried to run it. It asks “Connect a uupported Razer Device to get started”. Moving the mouse gets a compliant cursor, but nothing I do with the keyboard gets the app to progress. is it possible the keyboard is not compatible with the dongle from a mouse not included in the bundle? Why does the app not progress with the mouse anyway?
