Razer Kiyo Pro Flickering

I just switched from a Logitech to a Razer Kiyo Pro because I heard so much "good stuff" about this camera. however ... First, the camera flickers constantly. I've tried plugging it into my usb-c dock and directly into my Windows 10 system (I only have two ports, so it's difficult to leave the camera plugged directly into the system) -- it still flickers. It flickers in every piece of software I use it with, including Bluejeans, Zoom, Teams, local camera applications, and even Synapse. It also flickers on every application I use on my Macbook Pro running the latest OS/X. Second, on my Windows 10 system, it EATS processor, kicking my fans into high gear any time I'm using the camera for anything. Something seems fundamentally flawed here ... I'm inclined to return the camera to Amazon, except I tossed all the packaging. Is anyone getting the Kiyo Pro to work without flickering, etc.?

    This usually happens when the capture frequency rate does not match the frequency of the light source. You will want to adjust the powerline frequency in the advanced camera settings on Synapse 3. Do note that the app is not supported on macOS.
