Razer Blade Late 2016 Missing Serial Number

Hello, I'm trying to update a laptop (RZ09-01952) that I bought used. The issue I'm having is that every time I try and run the BIOS updater, I get an error saying: "This firmware tool is for use only with Blade and compatible system. The application will now close". I know that the tool should be used for my laptop. I found this reference: https://dl.razerzone.com/manuals/TSB%203042-01%20%20Meltdown%20and%20Spectre%20Vulnerabilites%20-%20Update%20Procedure%20v3.pdf And I chose the 2nd to last option, which matches my model number. After some research, I found my serial number appears to be missing from BIOS. I ran this command in the command line: wmic bios get serialnumber It returned this: SerialNumber During my research, I found that other people had similar issues and recommended some sketchy solutions. Is there an official method to get my serial number registered in BIOS?
