Razor Synapse profile keeps dropping to NAGA Chroma

I have a NAGA Chroma mouse with a profile where mouse scroll left / right are set to ; and Num Lock, respectively. For whatever reason, I will lose this profile and they will go to their default function until I unplug / plug in the mouse. I've used this mouse for years, no problem. Bought a game pad which required new synapse software (currently 3.6.430.42101) After installing this version of synapse, I constantly lose the profile and mouse goes back to default settings. To resolve, I have to reset my mouse connection. This happens about twice per hour while playing games. I have tried different USB ports as well as going through a powered hub. Each scenario acts the same way. Using windows 10 Version 2004 OS build 19041.928 Has anyone else experienced this, is there a fix? This specifically started happening when I upgraded synapse software to latest release
