Razer Blade 15 2020 Base heats up and crashes

Hi,

besides other annoying issues like decent fan noise during web surfing or massive lagging using an external monitor, I experience a disturbing new problem:
When I play Counter Strike Global Offensive (9 years old video game) I turn on the Gaming mode in Synapse and the game works well. But the laptop heats up so much that at some point (not always but usually) it crashes, i.e. the screen turns off all of a sudden, all applications do not work anymore and I have to hold the power button to hard shut down and reboot it.

I can tell that this behaviour occurs with an external monitor and closed lid as well as playing on the notebook screen only without any other hardware connected. Hardware Monitor tells me CPU temperatures peak 100° celsius - does not sound too good. The laptop is on a laptop stand with plenty space in all directions.

And yes, dear Razer Support, all drivers are up to date and I am using the latest version of Synapse.

I am still in warranty period and thinking about returning this bag of issues called a "high class gaming laptop".

But perhaps somebody can provide any kind of a solution. Would appreciate it really much. Undervolting is not available due to BIOS version 1.06.

The laptop you have shouldn't even break a sweat playing CS: GO even when on max settings. How long have you had the laptop, and is it sitting flush flat on a desk when this happens? In any case, please send me the serial number, a screen capture of temps hitting the peak, along with your application and system logs from Windows Event Viewer.
