Macbook Pro 2020 running Windows 10-21H1
Hi, I have a Macbook Pro 2020 and I'm running Windows 10 - 21H1. I have setup my Razer Core x (RC21-01310100) and I have installed a Radeon 580 RX. Unit powers up ok and the GPU fans kick in fine. I registered it then installed the Razer Synapse 3 and Razer Cortex programs. When I connect via thunderbolt 3 the machine pings and the graphics card appears in device manager but when I install the official drivers from AMD the install wizard says the machine need to restarted. Which I do but when I check again the driver has failed to install and it has an explanation mark on it. I have also looked in Synapse to find the Core x but it just says view compatible devices then takes me off here https://www.razer.com/synapse-2#synapse-enabled same goes for when i look for it using the Synapse icon running at the bottom right. Just says please connect a device. but it is....
In Device manager it says this "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)" but i have used the GPU switcher 1.0.2.9 and made the 580 default but then screen just goes fuzzy and i have to force restart. Once restarted the Iris GPU is disabled so i tried to re-install the driver again but it still wont work. Finally if i use the GPU switcher and click download drivers it sends me herehttps://www.razer.com/gaming-systems/razer-core-updates but all i get is a 404 error!! Am i missing something here?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mick
