synapse latest update broke keybindings?

I have a naga pro trinity and just this morning the 12 button thumb panel refuses to work when i bind the keyboard key '4' onto the button 5 (it was fine yesterday?). Crazy as it sounds, it keeps providing the input as key '3' instead but works fine when i change it to key '5'. This is frustrating as hell and when i exit synapse, it goes back to working fine with key '4' bound to button 5 (on the thumb panel). What gives? Did the latest synapse update introduce a bug or something?

Just realised it happens EVERYTIME the mouse goes to sleep and wakes up from inactivity. How can I fix this?

Do you mind sending me a short video clip or a screenshot of the issue? That way, I can grasp the situation? For now, perform a clean reinstallation of your Synapse by following this guide. PM me the serial number of your mouse if the issue persists. That way, I can verify its model and look for other possible solutions. As for the mouse waking up, you can follow the steps below to fix this problem.
  • Press Windows Key + X and click on Device Manager
  • Expand the "Mice and other pointing devices" and right-click/tap on your Mouse.
  • Tap Power Management and uncheck "Allow this device to wake the computer.
  • Click OK and restart the computer and check the issue
