Viper Ultimate will not charge.

I have recently purchased a Razer Viper Ultimate (RC30-030501) and while it works perfectly wired and is recognized by Synapse, it will not charge past 0% and I've tried sitting it on the dock and plugging it in directly with the provided cable but have had no progress on getting the mouse to charge. I do not know if this is a common issue as there is no one on Reddit who has posted about this. Thanks for any help in advance!
