Razer Blade Pro 17 (2019) dreaded battery bulge

Hi, I'm in a pickle and would like to see if I could get some help and advice from the forums regarding my Razer Blade Pro 17 (2019) that I purchased last year in April. The machine suddenly stopped charging today and since I was uncertain if it was an adapter or a battery issue, I opened it up. As I did, I felt an usual pressure pushing on the screws while opening the case and could observe bulges on the two battery packs with a slight separation of the battery wrapping layer. I have removed the battery pack for precaution and I am quite worried as I am uncertain how to store it safely while I get some help from support. I am also in need of this machine for day to day work so I plugged back the power adapter, but it wouldn't get any power. I found a Reddit topic about an earlier generation model working without the battery pack, so I'm wondering if it could be done on the Pro 17 2019 or if I also have a power adapter failure. Anyways, here's hoping for some good news!
