Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma - Eject / Disconnect and required software

I apologize in advanced for being a n00b when it comes to forum "threadequette" and non-gamer in a gamer community forum! I did my best to search for a related thread, but failed. Please feel free to move my question as needed or banish me to the cribbage table with the other grandpas! I have a TB4 Dock Chroma with a Dell TB4-compatible laptop. I was wondering if there is a "best practice" for ejecting the TB4 Dock Chroma when disconnecting my laptop from my workstation. I use this dock exclusively to push 2 (of 5 total) monitors, as well as to connect my gigabit ethernet, and a half a dozen other hardware peripherals. My system only offers options to "eject USB Audio" and "eject Billboard Device" - neither disconnects my peripheral monitors. Maybe I'm clinging to some bygone notion that you have to "eject" things - please let me know if that is no longer a thing - but judging from the chaotic blinking of screens and cacophony of noises from Windows that occurs when I yank the cable, it's hard not to worry that I might be frying something (whether it be the dock or my laptop). My solution has been to simply close the laptop lid and wait for the lights on the bottom of the dock to go out, it's just a very inconvenient workaround some of the time. I'm guessing a third-paragraph pivot to a second question is also breaking some cardinal rule of forums (sorry!?), but I was also wondering if any of the Razer software is actually "necessary" for my purposes. I do not play any games, ever. I only use this computer (and dock) for "office" docking purposes, granted I run a fairly heavy load of hardware peripherals and processor/GPU intensive software at all times and purchased a TB4 dock to eliminate any potential bottleneck with my many peripherals. From what I can tell, my GPU, processor, and RAM are all adequate for my purposes. I prefer to run a lean machine, and would prefer to uninstall any software that isn't providing a real benefit. Thoughts?
