Flip orientation of light strips horizontally in Synapse Studio
So here is my issue. I have the new Wireless ARGB Controller w/ Lightstrips set up on the rear of my monitor. I have 2 long strips on top and bottom and 2 short strips on the left and right sides
Due to the limitations of the channels and the wide wide wideness of my ultrawide CRG9, I had to break the single chain of strips I had, had to organize the strips so that their starting points are all toward the right, connecting to the controller which is mounted on right back side of the monitor in the center.
I was able to connect my long strip on the bottom and right strip to connect to their own channels but, due to distance and channel limitations, I combined the left and top strip on the same chain into one channel that goes from the top right corner to the top left corner and then down the left edge to the bottom left corner.
However, when I'm configuring the strips on the controller in Synapse, I am only able to make 90 degree bends clockwise. This means that, in order to get all of my LEDs lit and showing up in the configuration, I was forced to reverse the orientation of the strips that cover the left and top borders of the back of my monitor. So instead of the starting point being on the top right to match how they are physically arranged, the starting point is forced to be in the bottom left if I want to make any kind of perimeter.
So here is how I was able to configure them in Synapse Studio to get them to all show up in the first place:
Channel 1: 1 Short strip configured on the right flowing upward (Correct orientation in Synapse Studio)
Channel 2: 1 Short strip on the left, 1 Long strip on the top configured to start from the bottom left corner, to the top left, and then across the top edge to the top right corner. (Incorrect orientation in Synapse Studio)
I had to make 3 strips in Studio
Channel 3: 1 long strip going across the bottom from the bottom right corner to the bottom left corner (Correct orientation in Synapse Studio)
Pictures attached:
Physicalconfig.jpg: A diagram of how I physically have my strips arranged
Strips1.jpg: The perimeter I made
Strips2.jpg: The direction the LEDs should be flowing if I was able to make a counter-clockwise 90 degree bend in my strip
Strips3.jpg: The incorrect direction that the LEDs are now flowing in.
So the problems this presents are obvious. If I set a flow effect on my 2nd channel that controls the left and top edges, that effect is going to go the opposite direction of what it's supposed to. If I'm sync'd and something is glowing bright in a game on the top left of my screen, the top right is going to glow instead, etc. etc.
So we either need to be able to flip orientation of strips horizontally/vertically or we need to be able to do counter-clockwise bends in strips. Is it possible to accomplish what I'm doing here and get a perimeter of LEDs that are addressed accurately?
