Razer Opus on PC sound issues

Hello, So I just got the razer Opus (not pro or X) and I tried gaming with it. I noticed in a call the sound and mic work fine and aaaall the background sounds like music or video or game stopped working. So I figured it can tell what is important right? Then I went on to play DRG a favorite game of mine but as soon as switched the microphone to Razer Opus the sound immediately cuts off. I imagine the headset assumes there is a call more important than my game if the microphone is in use or something. Anyway, I can't see any setting on PC to cancel that out. Nothing in bluetooth either. I need to know if this is fixable since it is a deal-breaker to me. I bought them to use on my PC and play games with. If not I will need to return them. Thank you!
