Problems Connecting headset

I just received the Nari Ultimate Headset and I’m trying to connect it to my Xbox one. I’ve took the portable usb and plugged it into the Xbox and turned on my headset. I believe it is pared because when I unplug the usb from the Xbox a blue light starts blinking on the headset. I’m not sure if there’s a setting somewhere that needs to be turned on through my Xbox to allow sound to pass through the usb to my headset or what?
