Barracuda X connection not found

Hi, I have a Barracuda X headset. It blinks blue when the usb-c dongle is not in a device and stops blinking when the dongle is in a device. So it definitly connects. But it's no where to be found in sound settings or in device management. What could be the issue and how do I fix it?

My PC wont boot when the dongle is in. So it seems like it's the dongle thats toast

Does the behavior happen when the headset trying to pair/connect to another USB port or computer? Ensure the Type-C receiver is connected directly to your computer's USB through the adapter cable that came in the package.
