Razor Ripsaw HD requirements

Good day my name is Brian and I am new to the forums. The question that I have is about my laptop. I have an Asus X555UA with a I7 6500U 2.5ghz. It has 12 gigs of DDR3 ram and an Intel HD520 graphics chip. I want to use this lap top for streaming from my PS4 and Xbox One. Will this laptop work or do I need to figure something else out?

Your laptop doesn't meet the GPU requirements for the Ripsaw HD. You can refer to the list of requirements below:
  • PC (Windows® 8 64-bit or higher) with a free USB 3.0 port.
  • CPU:
    • [Desktop] Intel® Core™ i3-6100 (or higher)
    • [Laptop] Intel® Core™ i7-4810MQ (or higher)
  • GPU:
    • [Desktop] NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 (or higher)
    • [Laptop] NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 870M (or higher)
  • Memory: 4 GB minimum (8 GB recommended)

Thnks for the replay. As it turns out my lap top is handling the Ripsaw HD with no issue's. Can record in 1080 at 60FPS off of the PS4 pro.

    I have a laptop with an i5 7200U (2 cores 4 threads) with intel hd 620 integrated graphics (An almost identical cpu to the i7 6500U). I have been looking to record gameplay from my New ipad pro (11 inch- the one with usb-c meaning I have an HDMI out). I am extremely disappointed with Apple’s internal “screen recorder that has a horrible 6500-7000 Kbps bitrate while the resolution is slightly higher than 1440p in pixel count(Due to the unusual aspect ratio of the screen). The result is horrendous looking recordings. I have tried using Elgato’s screen link to record at better quality but my cpu utilization is at 100% 100% of the time and the recordings were in slow motion. (Elgato screen link is an app on the ipad that advertises wireless screen recording to a PC (It doesn’t involve the use of a capture card). I thought the wifi router could have been a bottleneck so I tried connecting the ipad and laptop directly with an ethernet cable and using the laptop to provide an internet connection through the ethernet cable. This didn’t fix my problem.) So my question is: Will my laptop be able to handle recording the gameplay from my ipad? Does the ripsaw actually do the encoding so my cpu won’t struggle as much as before? I don’t need the recordings to be 1440p. Only for them to be YouTube worthy.
