Chroma Visualizer not working

I have a full razer setup and would love to use the Chroma Visualizer on it, however, it doesn't seem to work at all for me. I downloaded keyboard visualizer 3.06 from the workshop. When I go to the Chroma Visualizer on the Synapse app it tells me "You must first enable Audio Visualizer from the Chroma App list to use this application." When I go to the chroma app list it is blank, no apps. When I open Keyboard Visualizer 3.06 stand-alone app and save settings nothing changes on my keyboard or mouse.
