7.1 Surround Sound issues

Hello. I'm trying to activate my 7.1 surround sound following this: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/614 Steps taken: I installed the application, I logged in, I input my activation code, clicked activate, all done I'm stuck at "Set 7.1 Surround Sound as default playback device" step because I can't find it among my playback devices. When I launch the app there is an exclamation mark, telling me to select the 7.1 Surround Sound device (which doesn't exist) so I click next and it tells me to select my audio device, I select my headphones, it's called Realtek High Definition audio (Speakers), click Done and still nothing happens, exclamation mark is still there. Any ideas why it isn't there? I'm using Razer Kraken X and I have the headphones connected via a 3.5mm jack
