core X chroma eGPU does not start

Hi! Just received the core X from razer. However, if graphic card (RTX A5000) in or not and if computer connected or not, the unit does not start. No light, no fans, no power output. Is there any "trick" which can still be done to make the unit starting up? the power cable is checked and ok. Or just returning as defect to the seller? many thanks!!

    Did you follow the steps here on how to set up the Razer Core X Chroma? If you have access to different power or USB-C cable I suggest you try swapping the cables too. Otherwise, it's highly likely a hardware problem. Feel free to check our self-help for product updates and other troubleshooting steps. PM me anytime should you need further assistance.
