Hi, I contacted support but they said the only way to resolve the swollen battery issue is to send it ito a Razer Repair Centre (RMA) however I cannot be without my work laptop for the period of 3-5 business days and Razer are saying they cannot provide parts, which in my option is completely anti right to repair and goes along the same lines as Apple. So I tried 3rd party batteries, first one once installed was showing 0% and not charging so I sent it back thinking it was faulty and got a second one but its doing the same! I plugged back in the original OEM battery (swollen) and that one did start charging. I have checked for BIOS updates and there are none and also remove the CMOS battery to really make sure there was no power and retried but nothing worked. Therefore there is no installation issue or laptop problem which leads me to believe these batteries are being software locked out somehow. Can someone in Razer Support confirm if there is a software lock on these laptops and if so how to remove this or have another suggestion for a cause.

I am not sure how the other battery works, but these were tested and manufactured with Razer, so it should be working when plugged into our units. Can you send me the case number so I can review your contact history? I'll be locking this thread to curb our conversation privately.
