My 7.1 surround sound already in use
So I bought and registered my headset and I got my 7.1 activation code, but it says it's already in use. I'm logged in with the same account I registered my barracuda X.

+1Be sure it's properly typed, check for any code mismatch like 0 (zero) and O (capital "o"), I (capital i) and 1 etc.
If the code is activated, then it's bound to your account.
