Razer Kraken V3 input too loud and output too quiet

I recently bought a new Razer kraken v3 headset and compared to my previous microphones, (all turtle beach), The microphone is incredibly quiet, and the volume is way too loud. Just to play games without hurting my ears I have to have my volume set to 12, and when I use discord, my friends can barely hear me even when my microphone is almost in my mouth. In synapse 3 and windows settings I have set my microphone volume to maximum, and it still does next to nothing. I hope there is a fix for this otherwise, I'll probably be getting a refund and going back to turtle beach.

Does the mic behavior happen out-of-the-box? Also, does it occur regardless of what application/program you are using? Did you try closing all applications and testing the mic by recording your voice using the Window Voice Recorder? Check if the audio quality is the same.
