Razer Kraken Kitty Edition BT - Bad sound quality

My wife is using the Razer Kraken Kitty Edition BT headset and neither of us have been able to figure out how to use the headset in a voice call while still being able to listen to the system/game sound. There are 2 options for sound output related to the headset. Razer Kraken BT Kitty Edition Hands-Free AG Audio and Razer Kraken BT Kitty Edition Stereo Any audio passed throught the Hands-Free option sounds terrible. And the expectation was that the Hands Free option was meant to be dedicated to conversational audio, since quality doesn't really matter, and Stereo would be for game/system audio. But only one of them can be activated at a time which leaves her with awful audio if she needs to communicate with anyone. I personally use a HyperX wireless headset and our experiences have been complete opposite. My headset has worked like a dream from day one, and her Razer headset has given her nothing but grief. :( She wants to keep using her headset but it's just not worth the trouble if we can't find a solution for this soon.

Try to isolate the issue by following the steps here. If that didn't help, PM me the serial number so I can validate its model and look for other steps to help you resolve the audio quality issue. Thread locked to curb conversation to PM.
