Devices not detected : synapse Version 3.7.1103110716 (date 20221108)

Hi, I'm facing an issue with my Razer devices. Since the last update was released, no more device is detected by Synapse (Keyboard, Mouse and Headset) I can see my devices in Windows, they are still working, but the setting is not applied as I can't see them in Synapse I have tried to repair Synapse but it didn't change anything. Does anyone have the same issue ? Bikou

I'm having the same issue, but with my Blade 14. Synapse doesn't detect it at all since the new update. Tried reinstalling and updating Windows but still nothing

I've been having the same issue. I followed all of the steps they recommended when devices weren't connecting, nothing worked. All of my devices that were previously connected and working are not read in the synapse at all.

I am having the same issue. I tried the repairing option, reinstalling the drivers and tried reinstalling the app. Nothing worked.

Same issue, seems to be the newest update has affected compatibility.

Same issue here. Everything was fine until Synapse updated. Now my mouse is connected to the PC and works fine, but won't connect to Synapse or use the profiles. I have tried reinstalling the software, repairing the software, deleting all Razer files on my PC and then reinstalling Synapse, uninstalling the mouse drivers, uninstalling the Razer drivers, running the Razer connection troubleshooter, updating my drivers, and installing all the other unrelated products included with Synapse. None of these have helped. I just want to be able to adjust my mouse sensitivity so I can play some games. I am confident this was just a bad Synapse update. Hoping for a quick fix.

tried every possible thing to get it fixed . but still no luck.. its been 20 hrs already since i am seeing this issue. hope this would be fixed ASAP

I have the same issue with my barracuda pro

Same issue after the 20221108 update for my Naga Chroma and Huntsman Elite. Both devices show up in the device manager and function just fine but Synapse fails to recognize them. Troubleshooting attempted:
  • Repaired Synapse with the repair utility
  • Completely uninstalled Synapse (removed leftover folders/files as well as registry keys)
  • Uninstalled devices for both the mouse and keyboard (making sure to check 'remove drivers' when uninstalling.
  • Turned my computer off and on again between each step attempted above.
  • Ran windows update and made sure my PC was up to date.
Razer devices still not detected in Synapse.

Razer still sleeping :(

Same for me - I bought the Death Adder V2 two days ago and Synapse worked fine until yesterday.

If it's not detected by Synapse go with these steps (remember to reboot PC after using tool, and use admin account to install Synapse):
  • Uninstall Synapse
  • Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  • Then restart your PC
  • After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).
Also be sure, that devices are connected directly into USB ports on the motherboard, and not via USB hub or ports in PC case (which sometimes acts like hubs). Min. USB 3.0 (or above).

tried the above steps but still see the same issue

I am also experiencing this issue. I have tried the Razer Driver Cleanup Tool, and every single troubleshooting attempt in the world, but nothing.

Welp, the update threw a towel on my new Viper V2 Pro. Did every bit of troubleshooting like @opplayz, but still no dice. However Viper Ultimate works just fine. I am not sure if the update new the V2 Pro's USB dongle for it won't get detected anywhere.

Yep, same thing here. Was playing a game, Synapse asked for an update, I agreed, it updated and now neither my keyboard nor mouses are recognized despite being officially supported by Synapse 3. I've tried many things so far including uninstalling drivers and Synapse using the Razer tool : no change. Installed Synapse 2 instead --> correctly sees the keyboard (not mouse as it's not supported). They need to fix this fast or let us find easily an older version.

Okay, I found a fix elsewhere. If you are playing or have played Valorant, there is a software called Riot Vanguard installed alongside it. Go uninstall it, then reinstall Synapse.

you are a genius bro.. thanks a ton.. it worked

I don't play Valorant. Don't even have it installed on my PC.

This worked for me. Uninstalled Riot Vanguard then I went through FiszPL instructions for uninstalling Synapse and running the cleanup tool.

This worked for me as well. Thanks!

Update: I did the fix with Riot and synapse is now reading my headset, but not my other devices

Update (again lol): I unplugged and replugged my keyboard and mouse, everything shows up in synapse fine now! Thanks so much!!

Yeah, the Riot Vanguard fix worked for me. Make sure to uninstall and reinstall via Razer Central instead of downloading on the website, or not.
