2.4ghz connection issue on the Deathstalker V2 Pro Keyboard

Hi all, Recently im having 2.4ghz connection issue on the Deathstalker V2 Pro Keyboard. I have tried moving the 2.4ghz dongle to other usb ports, and also plugging it into the provided razer hub, and placed it next to the keyboard to no avail. I have updated to the latest firmware and still facing issue of it not registering pressed keys. Sometimes it register a key or two, sometimes there are delays and at times doesn't register at all. I also noticed the light at "1" LED indicator loses light then comes back on. While on wired mode, it works flawlessly. Please advise Thanks!

Same issue as you. I have tried different wireless dongle, like the one on my deathadder v3 pro and same, doesn't work at all. I was only able to use the keyboard in Bluetooth mode or when it is connected directly to the pc using the cable provided. The keyboard also only shows up in Razer Synapse when plugged in or when its in bluetooth mode. Waiting to hear from support or other users if they have a fix for this too, thanks!

did this happen to you recently? mine worked fine for the first 2 weeks or so problem only started recently....

I've had this issue... but be warned I am currently on my 3rd DSV2Pro The first lasted a week with it doing exactly what you described until it finally just stopped working. Replacement I got for it the dongle was DOA 3rd (last attempt) the dongle is working fine no problems with the wireless functionality apart from the RGB now not working unless plugged in. Currently trying to troubleshoot that issue since all I did was plug it in to charge it. anyway, I noticed from the first 2 that they were from the same batch going by SN (2222xxxxxxxx) This new one is from a different one... If you got good lighting or a good camera I would look at the dongle to see if it is actually intact where you plug it in and if the plastic L above the green (like a SATA cable) is not damaged. I think there may be some QC issues going on sadly on the cheapest part. The keyboard itself is fine but still a hassle if you have to deal with the RMA process.

I just tried something over the weekend and supposedly fixed my issue. I was plugging in the dongle to my USB 3.2 slot and encountered the faulty connections. However, upon changing to the USB 2.0 slot, I was seemingly able to get it working properly again. You may try the above solution if you have not tried, I will continue monitoring at my end too.

I see.. yeah guess you've gotten a faulty dongle. Hope that the new dongle solves your problem. Also hoping that mine was not just a temporary solution!

Anyone got this kind of issue with DeatStalker V2 Pro, this is my 2nd keyboard that is doing the same thing. Only thing that helped was removing the dongle from USB and connecting it again, but it helped only for some short period of time.

i have the same problems after updating to the newest firmware. i used the update app:

DeathStalkerV2Pro_02900292_FirmwareUpdater_v1.03.00_r2.exe

now i cant drive cars in DayZ without crashing them to total destruction. the delay is dangerous in the situation of driving. also you running and the player stops like the button W is not pressed anymore.

I thought I was going crazy over the last month or so thinking it was something that I was doing. I’m going through this exact issue right now, during my work shift no less. Out of no where , started getting the sound notification that something was disconnected and reconnected. I’d been having this happen for about a month but never thought anything of it until now. Now it won’t recognize no matter the port I put the dongle in, whether its wired, Bluetooth or not.

Faulty dongle maybe ?

Try reaching their support if you are still under warranty they will send you new dongle.

i have uninstalled all synapse software and reinstalled. after that workaround was seems everything to work normaly. but it started again with the disconnection and reconnection. i have turned the windows warning sound to realy low, so i don’t hear the sound. but i have set the keyboard to fireplace ambience and it turns to color cycle mode after the disconnection. i decided to connect it over one dongle from the mouse. it hasn’t helped for long. i think it is the wifi module in the keyboard that causes this culprits. i will contact again the razer support, so they can send me another keyboard. this isnt funny on a keyboard that cost me over 200€.

I agree very expensive keyboard to have problems like this. They send me 2 of them, and they all have some kind of bugs on various PCs with fresh windows install. I am kind of disappointed in Razer stuff, can’t say I will buy them again, sure not for 200€ ever again.

I found the solution to the problem, hope this works for you.

First make sure you plug your dongle into the front ports of your pc (so don't plug to the motherboard port) congrulations now you have a keyboard that works occasionally xd

and then uninstall all razer software from your computer. And now you have a working keyboard.

btw, I restored the razer software and had no problems, But maybe it may not be like that for you. So it's up to you whether to restore or not.

The stupidest problem here is that the dongle doesn't work on the rear ports. I hope this is not a hardware problem and they manage to fix it.

i found the perfect solution for. but it doesn’t look that good. i have used the extension cables that came with the mouse and keyboard. so the dongles are hanging down in the front of the case now. seems the case interferes with the dongles and shields the wifi signal. when they hangin down now in the front of the case, i do not have any interruptions anymore with the signal.

Guys I believe I’m having a similar problem. My DSV2PRO’s RGB only works in default breathing effect when connected via cable, and does not lit up at all when connected via 2.4ghz. Chroma Studio is showing that the RGB effects are still working normally. Please help!

Same thing, when you plug it into ten ports, the problem is minimized. Why doesn't it work on rear ports?
Razer deathadder v2 x hyperspeed mouse dongle works smoothly on rear ports.
I'm trying the hyperspeed multi device pairing feature. With a single dongle, this time the front and rear ports are experiencing the same disconnection problem.
I did Software Development. Frankly, I don't understand where the problem is?

I'm going crazy over this problem.

I took my 2xx series keyboard under warranty. They sent me a new keyboard with 3xx series and the problem is the same.

WHERE ARE THE RAZER OFFICIALS!!!!!!!!

My first keyboard was having this exact issue, I got an RMA replacement and now 3 months later the second keyboard is having the same issue! I’ve tried to move the dongle around different USB ports to no avail. While wired the keyboard works flawlessly. I love the build and the switches, everything is right up my alley. It’s just a shame that an keyboard at this price point is having these issues consistently.

Hello all.

I too, came here looking for a solution. I believe I have fixed my issue by watching this YouTube video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uoqS_7RQTI

It seems as though my issue was with the wireless dongle provided with the DeathStalker v2 Pro. I was able to connect my DSv2 Pro to the dongle provided for my Basilisk v3 Pro wireless mouse.

I am no longer having issues with my wireless connectivity.

I hope this helps someone out there.

Cześ mam taki sam problem mam kilka klawiatur  i kilka dongli, za żadne skarby nie moge ich sparować.

Lots of issues on my DeathStalker v2 pro.

I have the

Keyboard: DeathStalker v2 pro

Mouse: Deathadder v3 pro

Headset: BlackShark v2 pro wireless

All new. Not more than 1 week old.

I had read the same somewhere that if there are 2 devices connected, it gives an issue.

so as per this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uoqS_7RQTI

I did the same. all my firmware are upto date. No issues with mouse or headphones.

keyboard is connected to the mouse dongle and is using a single dongle to connect via Hyperspeed.

Although improved,

  • I still keep getting isssues with random unresponsiveness on key press for a few seconds
  • random reconnections. and kind of renders the keyboard unusable. keyboard Flashes white before this happenes
  • Very rarely one keypress equates to multiple keypresses and results ion multiple characters on screen.
  • Continuous keypress doent work at time. especially ingame. e.g. pressing ‘w’ for movement doen’t result in continuous movement

Really surprised that such a expensive keyboard has such issues!!

If you have found any solution, please do let me know.

I had the input lag issue and random key presses issue.

Try closing Razer Synapse and the Exit All Apps in Razer Central. Somehow this resolved all my input lag issue with my Deathstalker V2 Pro. The keyboard is now very responsive.
